The book is trying to catch the unique atmosphere of the city of Benidorm, at the Costa Blanca in Spain. I came to Benidorm the second time in May 2018 spending a week in the city taking photos.The book includes 47 images showing the way retired people are spending their time at the beach. From the first moment i was impressed by the colorful dresses and the sunburned skin of this senior beach species. It seemed that the people tried their best to find personality again in colors after spending their nights in unpersonal skyscraper apartments. But besides all this concrete and arranged surroundings it seemed like a place full of fun and joy for the retired people. I realized from the first moment that i wanted to do a photographic work trying to show this amazing spirit of colors, skins and people.
